Small wrist top GPS receiver with easy to read display. Multi-sport training assistant for runners, bikers, swimmers and for many other outdoor activities. Barometrical altimeter, heart rate monitoring (sensor included with pack) and wireless data exchange with USB receiver. Also well suited as bike computer.

As a personal training assistant, the GARMIN Forerunner 910XT helps to achieve your personal workout goals, regardless of if you run, bike, swim - or even all together. It records the travelled path (track), your heart rate (requires heart rate monitor), distance, time, pace or speed and computes the calories burned. When you swim, it tracks the distance and the number of strokes. The device is very easy to use, supports multiple languages and has an extremely sensitive antenna. It is the perfect partner for any outdoor activities. Supports wireless data exchange with a PC via the included USB receiver.
The optional speed and cadence sensor plus the mounting kit for handlebar make the Forerunner 910XT also well suited as a bike computer. Also, there is an optional foot pod to measure speed and distance indoor.

The Forerunner 910XT is especially well suited to provide information about your outdoor activities (track, speed, distance, elevation profile, heart rate, time a.s.o.). Use the function "mark waypoint" to get the coordinates of the current location. The device also shows distance and direction from the current location to user defined waypoints.

GARMIN Forerunner 910XT

Features:

  • Wrist top device, robust, very handy, water resistant up to 50 meters (150 feet)
  • Easy to read display with background illumination
  • Multilingual user interface in Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish
  • Integrated 12 channel GPS receiver with very sensitive built-in SiRFstarIII antenna. The antenna is positioned behind the bended part of the housing and provides the best possible conditions for receiving the satellites signals regardless of the position of the bearer's wrist.
  • Barometrical altimeter for precise elevation recording¹
  • Chest belt with heart rate monitor (included with the "Pack", but also available as an option). The chest belt uses a digitally coded signal, which means, once a heart beat sensor and the GPS have been paired, the GPS will never receive a conflicting signal from another sensor. So you can exercise in close proximity to other sensors without fear of interference.
  • Powered by built-in, rechargeable battery (lasts about 20 h), battery charger included
  • Short time to first fix (TTFF²: approx. 15 seconds after a warm start, meaning there are valid coordinates of the satellites available, or approx. 45 seconds after a cold start, meaning there are no valid coordinates of the satellites available)
  • Firmware stored in Flash-Memory, can be updated by the user
  • Operating temperatures -20 .. 60°C (-4° .. 140°F)
  • USB stick for wireless data exchange with a PC included
  • Dimensions: 54x61x15 mm (2.1x2.4x0.6 inches)
  • Weight: 72 g (2.5 ounces); Chest belt 21 g (0.74 ounces)
  • ¹) Even though a GPS provides accurate elevation information, the value slightly varies continuously. A barometrical altimeter is therefore more accurate, especially when summarizing elevation changes.
  • ²) TTFF: Time To First Fix, time until the first information about the current position is acquired.

Information about your training:

  • Profile: stores personal information such as gender, weight and date of birth (in order to calculate the calories burned)
  • Stores various settings per sport mode (running, biking, swim, other), such as values to be displayed on the custom page, heart rate zones, limits etc.
  • Swim mode: Tracks distance, counts strokes, computes swolf (sum of elapsed time in seconds plus number of strokes for a particular distance), no heart rate monitoring possible in while in water.
  • Stop watch with split times (laps). Records split times either manually by pressing the "lap" key or automatically based on a user defined distance or location.
  • Auto pause: Stops the watch automatically if the current speed drops below a user defined value, e.g. when waiting at a red light or during a short break.
  • Virtual Partner: This unique feature helps you to achieve certain goals for your workout. The virtual partner will keep exactly the pace / speed required to achieve the goal you have set. Forerunner will constantly measure your current pace / speed and compares it to the virtual partner's pace / speed. It will ask you to speed up or slow down as needed and it shows on the display whether you are ahead or behind your virtual partner.
  • History: Forerunner keeps track of your workouts. It stores the date, time, number of laps, duration, distance, average speed, calories burned, average and maximum heart rate on a daily basis. It also provides weekly overviews and running totals for the duration, distance and calories burned.
  • Navigation: Indicates distance and direction from your current location to a user specific waypoint. Stores up to 100 waypoints.
  • Course: Follow a course based on previously recorded activities or downloaded from the web to match or exceed your or someone else's goal. The Forerunner tracks your workout, but also indicates if you are on your course path or not.
  • Back to start: This feature helps you to travel all the way back to the starting point of your trip.
  • Stores up to 1'000 laps.
  • Supports metric and U.S. units.
