The GARMIN Foretrex 301 is very easy to use, supports multiple languages and has an extremely sensitive antenna. It is the perfect partner for any outdoor activities. It helps to navigate and displays and records information about your movement, such as the current heading and speed, the travelled path (track), maximum and average speed etc. The built-in USB interface supports data exchange with a PC.

GARMIN Foretrex 301

3 BEARING Direction from the current location to the destination.
4 COURSE The direction from the starting location to the destination or from one waypoint to the next waypoint.
5 ELEVATION Current elevation above sea level.
6 FINAL DEST Final destination: Name of the final destination (last waypoint on the current route).
7 FINAL DIST Final destination distance: Distance from the current location to the final destination (straight line).
8 FINAL ETA Estimated time of arrival at the final destination.
9 FINAL ETE Estimated time en route: Estimated time required to travel from the current location to the final destination.
10 HEADING Current moving direction.
11 LAT/LON Latitude/Longitude: Coordinates of the current location in WGS84 datum.1)
12 LOCATION Coordinates of the current location in the user selected datum.1)
13 MAX ELEVTN Maximum elevation since last reset.
14 MAX SPEED Maximum speed since last reset.
15 MIN ELEVTN Minimum elevation since last reset.
16 MOV'N AVG Moving average: Average speed while moving since last reset.

30 TO COURSE Direction to travel to return to the planned route.
31 TOT ASCENT Total ascent: The total elevation distance ascended since last reset.
