The following lists of changes are based on information provided by GARMIN. Changes or improvements which we consider important or especially useful are shown highlighted.

To view the current firmware version, complete the following steps:

  1. Turn on the GPS
  2. Press the Enter button (red button)
  3. Select "Setup"
  4. Select "About" (hint: press the up button once)
  5. The watch displays the software version

Each upgrade replaces the complete firmware in the GPS, which means you need to install only the version you wish to apply. There is no need to install any previous versions.


Changes made from version 4.40 to 4.50:

  1. Fixed issue with LiveTrack.
  2. Fixed issue with import of some workouts.
  3. Fixed issue with UltraTrac GPS mode in certain scenarios.
  4. Fixed issue with Area Calculation.
  5. Fixed Alt Zone time when timezone set to Moscow.

Changes made from version 4.10 to 4.20:

  1. Fixed an issue with the minimum cadence alert.
  2. Modified cadence alert data entry: for running, cadence is entered in steps per minute (spm); for cycling, cadence is entered in revolutions per minute (rpm).
